Big, Big Burger
by Gregory Adams

Food purveyors often seek to create a desire in the customer for more food than they can consume. Customers often look to food to fill some need in their lives. This combination will lead to spectacularly unsavory results for one manager and one customer.

I really, really, really wanted to vomit by the time I was through reading this one. I couldn't NOT read the entire thing, though. It was so smart and so well written that the suspense would have killed me if I didn't finish... You could say I was as addicted as a certain Mr. Berger to a certain meat sandwich. Thank you for this. I'll be reading more of your work. I think my favorite aspect was your antagonist. He doesn't want to rule the world or murder the hero. He is because he is and what he is is something quite frightening and insatiable.

I am reminded of the burger story that poppoed up during he Cannibalism contest.  Keep this up, and you'll have enough material for a burger based anthology.

Okay, that was gross.  But I had to find out how it ended anyway.  I think the way you focused attention initially on the burger and its promotion rather than Mac Berger was a very effective way of building suspense.

This is an excellent example of how to grab a reader that might not want to read a story like this and hold him or her by the neck until the last word.

I just loved it!!

Well done (no pun intended), Mr. Adams.

Man Vs. Food is one of my favorite shows. This story was like Man Vs. Man Vs. Food. Amazing.

And holy crap, Faye and Georgepat! Welcome back, long time no see around ST! Grin
